Chris Chris Alston (D. Min., Fuller Theological Seminary) has been involved in youth ministry for 18 years serving God through the local church. He is currently serving as Campus Pastor and Leadership Development Pastor at Clear Creek Community Church (http://www.clearcreek.org/) south of Houston where he oversees development of emerging and existing leaders to serve in all areas of the church. He has also been serving the last 13 years with the National Network of Youth Ministries (http://www.nnym.com/) as a network coordinator ministering to youth pastors and connecting youth workers together to reach their city. Chris is passionate about equipping adults and partnering with parents for effective ministry to teens. Chris and his wife Amy have three daughters. Chris presents the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.

JeffJeff Baxter (D.Min., Fuller Theological Seminary) has over 12 years of youth, young adult and family ministry experience. He has served in various positions and different size churches and a parachurch ministry. Dr. Baxter received his Bachelors degree from Hope College and his Master of Divinity from Columbia Biblical Seminary. Jeff has ministered in over ten countries and has been a featured speaker at youth and youth ministry conferences, colleges, retreats and churches. He is currently working at Foothills Bible Church (www.4fbc.org) in Littleton, Colorado as the Pastor of Singles and Student Ministries. In addition, he is working on a forthcoming book (2009) with Zondervan Publishing in the area of transitioning high school students into the “real world” and college life. He is married to Laurie and they live in Littleton, Colorado with their three children, Lillian, Levi and Lara. Jeff presents both the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.

martiMarti Burger has her BA from Bethel College in Minnesota and a Master’s Degree from North Park Theological Seminary. Marti Burger serves in the Denominational offices of the Evangelical Covenant Church, in the Department of Christian Formation, as the Director of Youth and Family Ministries. Marti’s main responsibilities include CHIC, a triennial event for senior high youth, The Youth Worker’s Connection an annual gathering of Youth Workers from around the country. She partners with Youth Pastor’s who serve as Front Line Coaches, she facilitates the Speaker Team and travels throughout the US and Canada to be an advocate for youth ministry. Marti serves with her husband Steve in ministry. They have ministered together in full-time ministry for over 20 years.

Daiv FrazeDavid Fraze (D. min., Fuller Theological seminary) is the Director of Student Ministries at Richland Hills Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas and has been a leader in youth ministry for over 17 years. He serves as the curriculum director for summer camps at Lubbock Christian University. He has been the host of a local TV segment, The Teenage Tightrope, (http://www.theteenagetightrope.com/), which provides parents with thoughtful insight into the world of teenagers. David is a writer who has contributed articles for youthspecialties.com and ENGAGE, the quarterly journal of The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding. He is married to Lisa and they have two children. David presents both the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.

WendellWendell Loewen (D.Min, Fuller Theological Seminary) is an associate professor of Youth, Church and Culture at Tabor College. He received his Bachelor's degree from Fresno Pacific University and his M.Div. from Mennonite Bethren Biblical Seminary. He has been teaching at Tabor College in the areas of youth, church and culture since 1997. He’s been involved with youth ministry, at various levels for more than 20 years. Along with his teaching responsibilities at Tabor, Wendell serves part-time as the District Youth Minister of the Southern District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. Wendell and his wife Shelly live in Hillsboro, Kansas. They have three children: Taylor; Peyton; and Preston. Wendell presents the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.

BillBill MacPhee (D. Min., Fuller Theological Seminary) has been involved in student ministries for over twenty-five years and is currently leading student and family ministries at Rolling Hills Covenant church in Rolling Hills Estates, California. A family man, Bill is married to Cynthia, and has two children, 19 year old Conner, and 11 year old Heather. Bill also enjoys camping, the surf, biking, and reading. Bill presents the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.


chuckRev. Dr. Charles N. Neder (D.Min., Fuller Theological Seminary) has been involved with youth and family ministry for over 35 years as a leader, teacher, trainer, and pastor. Chuck has served as Associate Pastor of Education, Youth and Family at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC; Dean of Students at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL; holder of the Sherrill Chair of Bible at the McCallie School, Chattanooga, TN; and was founding pastor of Hilton Head Community Church, Hilton Head, SC. He is the founder of both Fun in the Son and The Great Escape youth conferences, which together have been ministering to thousands of middle and high school students each summer for over twenty-five years. He also started Youth Worker Equipping Conferences, which seek to assist youth workers in personal growth and professional competence. These conferences are sponsored by Youth Conference Ministries (www.YCMhome.org), where Dr. Neder serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Chuck is in constant demand as a speaker at parenting seminars, family conferences, men’s retreats, youth worker equipping events and for guest preaching. He and his wife Susan conduct Family Life seminars across the country. He has written numerous articles on youth ministry and his understanding of youth culture and development have made him a pioneer in the shaping of youth ministry in the 21st century. He and Susan live in Chattanooga and have three sons and two granddaughters. Chuck presents the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.

Jack Radcliffe (D.Min., Fuller Theological Seminary) has been involved in youth ministry for 20 years serving churches and teenagers in Ohio , Michigan and Massachusetts and is a consultant with Youth Ministry Architects. He is a graduate of Malone College in Canton , Ohio (B. A.) and Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland , Ohio (M.Div.). Jack and his wife Patti have been married for 20 years marriage and have three teenage boys Joshua, Tyler, and Brandon, and a daughter, Danae. Jack presents ParentTeen and Hurt Seminars.

 

DuffyDuffy Robbins (D.MIn., Fuller Seminary), Professor of Youth Ministry at Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania, is a three decade veteran of youth ministry, having gained extensive experience as a youth minister in both para-church and local parish positions. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Duffy graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He is an Associate Staff member of Youth Specialties, the CORE training team and serves at the National Youthworkers Conventions. Duffy's speaking schedule also takes him each year to a number of college and university campuses as part of the Staley Distinguished Christian Scholars Lectureship. Duffy is the author of numerous books on youth ministry including his most recent book, a youth ministry textbook, This Way to Youth Ministry: An Introduction to the Adventure (Zondervan/Youth Specialties). Duffy lives in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania with his wife, Maggie. They have two daughters, Erin (now, Erin Lima) and Katie. Duffy presents the ParenTeen and HURT seminars.
