Thanks for your love and concern for today's youth! We are trying to unite the community and churches to be aware of where youths are today. We would like to see if you would be available to help us reach our community!

Our daughter's high school principle loves the book, "Hurt". I thought if Chap could come and speak up here to all the teachers would be a great opportunity for our community. Also, my husband is Bill McPhee's cousin.

I have a few questions about the pilot DVD. I would love to get one but before I purchase one I would like to know more about the theme, content, length, etc. If you have any information it would be appreciated.

My son struggled with drugs & alcohol for 2 yrs & I became consumed with trying to help. he is now living with his father, doing better & I feel left behind, trying to deal with all of the "Aftermath" of those 2 yrs & how it tore us apart. How do I reconnect with my son long distance to work through all of this?

I failed and feel so disconnected from the LIGHT>

I just finished reading "Disconnected." Thank you for giving permission to live in tension; for not given 5 easy steps. You have encouraged and normed what I see many parents struggle with, and you have given insight into the very different world of teenagers. Thank you.

Chap - I think you'll really enjoy what Newt Gingrich has to say about Adolescence. (Never thought he'd be speaking so directly to a youth ministry-related topic. Check it out: http://newt.org/tabid/217/a rticleType/ArticleView/articleI d/3428/Default.aspx#comme nts

I was wondering if you could recommend one of your books that would deal with teens who habitually lie--also a book that deals with teens and materialism. Thank you.
